Chiropractic is a great tool to help both mom and baby have a healthy pregnancy and birth.

Nourishing yourself for the holidays
A simple tool to feel better: magic mineral broth
Patients (and friends) often ask me what they should be doing at home to improve their health. They want to know if there is a new supplement worth taking or a special diet they should try out. Sometimes there is! But often, the answer is more simple.
I want to offer one suggestion to help nurture yourself: drink a cup of Magic Mineral Broth every day.
Dinner together
I sometimes find myself caught up in nostalgia — the thought that things were better in the past than they are now. It’s usually an illusion, of course. Spending time thinking about the past just distracts us from the present. But one practice that was common when I was growing up has become less so today: eating dinner as a family.

Back to school
I almost hate to say this, because I’ve had so much fun writing about the benefits of giving kids freedom during the summer, but school is starting up again! What I’d like to offer is a roadmap to keeping the creativity, wellness, imagination and play of summer with us throughout the school year.
For starters, I think it’s important to not take school too seriously.
Family wellness care
Most of the time, when we go to the doctor, we go because we’re suffering some sort of illness or pain and want to feel better. Sometimes, we also go to maintain our health and well-being. But whatever our reason, we’re usually going to help support ourselves.
I want to talk about the benefits of working on the health of your whole family as a unit.
Summertime: a world of imagination!
Chiropractic during pregnancy
Some of my most gratifying moments in practice have been helping moms go through pregnancy. I’ve written posts about the benefits of chiropractic before — it’s what I do and I really believe in it! But I want to take a moment to share some of the specific ways chiropractic care can help moms (and babies) in all stages of pregnancy.
